Recommendations for safe use of debit cards
  • Immediately upon receipt, sign the card in the marked place on its back.
  • Along with the card in the bank branch, you will also receive your personal identification number (PIN) in the appropriate sealed envelope. When using the card at the POS terminal or ATM, entering the PIN identifies the card user, for the purpose of greater security.
  • That is why it is important to keep your personal identification number (PIN) secret. Never keep it with the card and do not share it with others.
  • If you wish, you can change your PIN at any UniCredit Bank ATM by selecting the "CHANGE PIN" option.
  • The procedure for changing the PIN involves entering the existing and then entering a new PIN, which must contain four digits.
  • In case you have forgotten your PIN, you need to do the following.
  • If you have not changed your PIN at the ATM, you need to submit a request for a "PIN reprint" at the bank branch. The printed PIN will be delivered to your branch in a sealed envelope, of which you will be notified.
  • If you have changed your PIN at the ATM, you must inform the employee at the branch, and in that case you will be issued a new card and a new associated PIN, which will be delivered to your branch. The branch employee will inform you about the arrival of the new card and PIN.
  • When you pay with a Mastercard card, you will receive a receipt (slip) that you should keep in your personal records. Always check the amount and currency on the bill (slip) before signing it!
  • After using the card at the ATM terminals, take care not to forget the card, otherwise it will be confiscated for security reasons.
  • Do not keep the card near electromagnetic sources (batteries, mobile phones, radiators). The electronic information on the card's magnetic record can thus be erased or damaged, which can cause the card to malfunction.
  • If the card is stolen or lost, it is necessary to inform UniCredit Bank as soon as possible by phone: + 381 11 3777 888, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The card will be immediately blocked and protected from further unauthorized use.
  • If there is a change in your personal data entered in the Card Application, the destruction of the card, its technical malfunction, or if you forget your personal identification number (PIN), please inform the employee at the bank branch.
  • SMS Card alarm additionally increases your security! Users receive a notification via SMS message after each completed transaction, which further reduces the risk of card use and prevents misuse. It is enough to submit a Request for activation of the service at the nearest branch of UniCredit Bank throughout Serbia. The service is charged in accordance with the Tariff of Payment and Credit Card Fees for Individuals and Farmers.
  • It is recommended that you check your account balance before going on a long trip.
